If you are located in New South Wales and want to deliver with Amazon Flex in Sydney, Newcastle or Gosford, you will need to complete the Bluecard training course as the final step in your onboarding journey.
We know you're excited to start delivering and earning with Amazon Flex. Safety is very important to us and by obtaining your Bluecard you will meet or exceed the standards required for the transport and logistics industry in NSW. You do not need to complete this training if you are not delivering in NSW.
Unless you already have a valid Bluecard, it is mandatory for all Amazon delivery drivers in New South Wales to take the Bluecard training program with our training partner, Academy Green, after you have completed your background check. We are not able to offer Bluecard training to you unless you have passed the background check with Accurate.
Once you have completed the training you will be able to onboard with Amazon Flex, which means you will be able to accept a delivery block and get paid. What’s more, Amazon will cover the cost of the training and pay you for your time to attend the course!

What is Bluecard?
Bluecard training is essential for your safety and that of our community. Bluecard training is an NSW industry-standard safety accreditation requirement for the transport and logistics industry and is valid for 5 years. You can use it as an independent contractor with us, or in future freight and road transport opportunities outside of Amazon Flex that you may be interested in!
Grab this training worth over $250
If you do not already have a Bluecard, Amazon Flex will pay the full cost of the training which is run by our training partner Academy Green and usually costs $250. You will even earn while you learn - we’ll pay you a minimum of $154* for your time to complete it, which will take approximately four hours. You will be paid for your time once you have completed the training and completed your first delivery block for Amazon Flex.
*Deliver your first block to earn the following for completing Bluecard training; Sedan route $154, Large Passenger Vehicle route $159 and Cargo Van route $166.

Important things to know about the process:
✔ It takes around 4 hours to complete the blue card safety training and assessment with the instructor.
✔ When you’re ready to enrol with Academy Green, you will need to read, sign and share some documents. Check out our guide on how to "Get Enrolment Ready". Follow this guide and you’ll be booked and ready to learn in no time!
✔ The online training experience is most effective on a laptop or desktop.
