Deliver Amazon packages in your minivan or SUV

Larger vehicles, such as sport utility vehicles (SUVs), minivans, or people movers accommodate more packages than sedans, which means they qualify for longer delivery blocks, up to 6.5 hours long. If you don’t have 6.5 hours available in your schedule, don’t worry – you will also be able to schedule shorter blocks to maximize your earning potential.

Large passenger vehicle delivery drivers nationally earn a minimum of $174* per 6.5-hour block, inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break. Perfect for earning a bit of spare cash delivering Amazon packages on a free weekend!

Does your delivery vehicle qualify as a large passenger vehicle?

Large passenger vehicles look similar to the image to the right and have:
• Seats in the back
• Can usually transport 5+ passengers
How to select “large passenger vehicle” as your vehicle type during onboarding:
1. Download the Amazon Flex app.
2. Sign in to your Amazon account or create an Amazon account.
3. On the Mode of Transportation screen, select: Large Passenger Vehicle
Note: Selecting the wrong mode of transportation may result in onboarding delays.
4. After completing the background check, follow the in-app steps to verify your vehicle and continue creating your account.

What to expect when delivering with your
large passenger vehicle

Deliver blocks up to 6.5 hours long and earn
Amazon Flex gives you the freedom and flexibility to be your own boss. Plus, with your SUV, people carrier or minivan you can schedule standard and large blocks, giving you even more flexibility to earn extra money on your own schedule. Pick up packages with your large passenger vehicle hassle-free
When you arrive at the delivery station, it’s time to load your sedan with the packages you’ll be delivering to customers. Always arrive for your block with the right size vehicle to ensure there’s enough space to safely carry you and all Amazon orders. Here’s what you need to start delivering with your large passenger vehicle:
  • Live in an area where Amazon Flex operates.
  • Be 20 or older.
  • Have a full, unrestricted, Australian driver’s licence and the required insurance.
  • Have an iPhone or Android smartphone.
  • Have the legal right to work in Australia.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Have a vehicle that qualifies as a large passenger vehicle, and select “large passenger vehicle” on the modes of transportation screen, which you will find in the Amazon Flex app during onboarding.
