Deliver Amazon parcels with your own car
With Amazon Flex, you use your own car to deliver packages to Amazon customers. Your car must have four-doors so that there is enough space to carry yourself and the packages safely. We do not accept two-door passenger vehicles, or trucks or utes with open beds or trays.
Did you know that if you drive an SUV or a larger car, you may be eligible to deliver Large Passenger Vehicle blocks? Visit the Large Vehicle Eligibility Calculator where you can enter your vehicle's make and model to find out. If your vehicle doesn't appear in the calculator then you are likely eligible for Sedan delivery blocks.

Have the right car?
Sedan blocks require a four-door car that is large enough to carry yourself and your packages safely, such as a Volkswagen Passat, a Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord. Two-door cars are not eligible.
Sedans and hatchbacks can earn money in delivery blocks that are 4 hours long, and nationally earn a minimum of $116* for a 4-hour block. Perfect for a spare afternoon!

If you drive an SUV or a larger car, you may be eligible for 6.5-hour Large Passenger Vehicle blocks (which include a 30-minute unpaid break). Use our Large Vehicle Eligibility Calculator to find out. If your car doesn't appear in the calculator, and you do not drive a two-door passenger vehicle, truck or ute with an open bed or tray, then you should select ‘Sedans’ as your vehicle type when you sign-up.

Signing up is easy.
To get started you will need a valid driver's licence, an eligible vehicle, and a smartphone.
Remember to select the correct vehicle type and region in the Amazon Flex app when setting up your account.

What else do you need?
Be 20 years or older.
To drive for Amazon Flex you must be 20 years old or older. You must also have an Australian Business Number (ABN) which is a unique 11 digit number used to identify you and your business.

Have a full, unrestricted,
Australian driver’s licence
and the required insurance.
Amazon also provides additional coverage at no extra cost for the duration of your delivery block, however this only applies if you have Compulsory Third-Party (CTP) and a liability policy to cover third-party property damage. Find out more in our FAQs.
Pass a background check.
As part of your registration, you will need to pass a background check which is completed with our provider, Accurate.

If you are based in New South Wales, you will also need to complete Bluecard safety training before you can start delivering smiles. Amazon will cover the cost of the training and pay you for your time to attend the course.
This is an NSW only requirement and you will receive more details once you have passed your background check.
