With Amazon Flex, you use your own car to deliver packages to Amazon customers in delivery blocks up to 4 hours long. Your car must have four-doors so that there is enough space to carry yourself and the packages safely.. Sedan and hatchback delivery drivers nationally earn a minimum of $60 per 2-hour Amazon grocery block and $118* per 4-hour block. Perfect for a spare afternoon! Two-door passenger vehicles and trucks or utes with open beds or trays do not qualify.

How to select “Sedan” as your vehicle type during onboarding:
1. Download the Amazon Flex app.
2. Sign in to your Amazon account or create an Amazon account.
3. On the Mode of Transportation screen, select: Sedan
Note: Selecting the wrong mode of transportation may result in onboarding delays.
4. Then, follow the in-app steps to continue creating your account.

Amazon Flex gives you the freedom and flexibility to be your own boss and earn extra money on your own schedule. With your sedan, you will be delivering to customers in blocks up to 2-hours in Canberra, and up to 4-hours in all other regions. Learn more about earnings.

When you arrive at the pick-up location, it’s time to load your sedan with the packages you’ll be delivering to customers. Always arrive for your block with the right size vehicle to ensure there’s enough space to safely carry you and all Amazon orders. Here’s what you need to start delivering with your sedan:
- Live in an area where Amazon Flex operates.
- Be 20 or older.
- Have a full, unrestricted, Australian driver’s licence and the required insurance.
- Have an iPhone or Android smartphone.
- Have the legal right to work in Australia.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a vehicle that qualifies as a sedan and select “Sedan” on the modes of transportation screen, which you will find in the Amazon Flex app during onboarding.
